These five lanterns not only tell stories, but also give a lot of interesting information about the city centre, which consists of more than 460 half-timbered houses. If you have your bike with you, then you can enjoy the natural beauty of the region along the Aller cycle path.

Explore the surrounding area by bike
Cycling is not just in fashion, it’s also – and above all – healthy. Discover the natural beauty along the Aller cycle path. The rally cycle tours with milestones at Müden/Örtze or Hermannsburg, for example, are 25–35 km long. The routes to Wienhausen or Lachendorf may take a different course and be extended to a length of around 60 km per day. We will be happy to put together a personal cycle tour for you with stages around Celle.
